John is from a very diverse background and has over 30 years’ experience assisting companies in the food industry and the off shore Petro/Chemicals industry. His experience covers the implementation of management systems, process change management and training covering BRCGS Global Standards Food Safety, ISO 9001. ISO 14001 and FSC/PEFC chain of custody management systems.
In 2004 John was one of the first BRC (now BRCGS) Approved Training Provider of which there are currently over two hundred and thirty and in 2010 became an Approved Principle Training Partner.
More recently, using his knowledge of the food industry, management systems and process change management John has been one of the principle consultants participating in a joint research programme undertaken by totrain and in collaboration with the University of Sunderland. As part of the research programme John contributed to the concept and development of the enlighten 4C Culture Model specifically for the food manufacturing sector. Johns primary role was to facilitate pilot programmes with a number of food manufacturers to implement a Food Safety Culture Improvement programme based on the enlighten 4C Food Safety Culture model. The data obtained from the pilot programme was then used to develop and validate the enlighten 4C Food Safety Culture Improvement Model.
John is a member of Chartered Management Institute, an Associate Member of the Chartered Quality Assurance Institute.
