A new networking round-table for the food industry is urging businesses across the region to join its launch event next month.
Facilitated by Norton-based training company totrain, which specialises in food sector specific-training and in association with NEPIC, Foodies Unite aims to bring together food organisations large and small from across the North of England.
Helen Hood, Director at totrain, said: “The roundtable is being formed to provide a platform for discussion on relevant topics within the sector and is looking for people who have a passion for the sector to join and help it promote a positive image of the industry, share best practice and create a strong network of professionals.”
“It’s a great chance for professionals across organisations, small and large, working in the food sector to get together and share the issues they face as well as share excellence to drive quality in the sector across the region.”
This initial meeting will be facilitated by totrain, but will be an opportunity for all attendees to discuss thoughts and ideas on shaping the future of the roundtable. The event is being held on July 18 th between 9.30am and 12pm at Wilton Centre, Redcar. There will be a chance to network with food sector colleagues over lunch.
